It was discovered that four close friends who mysteriously disappeared had been killed, dismembered, and thrown into a river. This was a result of a violent shooting that occurred in a scrapyard in Oklahoma, where they were shot and killed. The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety has confirmed that this is indeed a case and has reported that this is the case. In a news conference held Monday morning, Okmulgee Police Chief Joe Prentice said that the owner of the scrapyard, Joe Kennedy, is a person of interest in the quadruple murder that took place last week. Prentice stressed that Kennedy has not been named a suspect. Police said Monday that Kennedy was missing. On Tuesday, police reported that he was found in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, and arrested for allegedly driving a car that had been reported stolen in Okmulgee County. As of the evening of October 9, the victims, Mark Chastain, 32, Billy Chastain, 30, Mike Sparks, 32, and Alex Stevens, 29, were last seen leaving one of their homes in Okmulgee at the time of the crime. It is reported that the suspects rode bicycles in Okmulgee, according to Okmulgee Police. "I have worked on over 80 murders in my career... but this case involves the most victims and it is an extremely violent crime," the chief explained.
